I Used To SUCK At Getting Clients

Back in my haydays of being a copywriter...

I’d go into Facebook groups and post cheesy “value posts”.
I’d make tons of Facebook posts that got me no clients.
I even got kicked out of the ClickFunnels group in 2016 for self promotion.

It Wasn’t Until I Looked Back At What Made All My 7, 8, & 9 Figure Clients Successful...

Solution Slinging.

Now, I didn’t know it was that at the time.
But it’s what myself and my most successful clients use consistently.
Before I figured out Solution Slinging, I was throwing spaghetti at the wall, hoping something would stick. 
The harder I tried to sell, the more disinterested my audience became. 
It was like I had "desperate" written all over my forehead.
Then one day, it hit me: people are sick and tired of being sold to. 
They're burnt out, skeptical, and can smell a pitch from a mile away
The truth is?

Nobody Cares About Your Offer

So stop talking about it so much in your content.

It’s pushing away potential clients that might want to work with you because it makes you look like what I call…
An “Offer Slinger”.
Aka someone who makes tons of offers or talks too much about their offer in their content.
It can come across as desperate.
And you and I both know there’s people on the timeline who only talk about their offer, and we just tune them out, right?
So if it’s the main way you’re getting clients from your content, wouldn’t you say it’s time for a change?
Then you know that the old way of being an "Offer Slinger" just doesn't cut it anymore.
So instead of being an "Offer Slinger"...

You Need To Become A "Solution Slinger

Here's the crucial distinction:

Offer Slinger = talking about what you sell
Solution Slinger = talking about the new way you get people results

Your solution is the new way they're going to get results, which explains:

​Why they've failed in the past
​Why they're going to succeed now

It's that 'aha' moment or the final piece of missing information that makes them go...

..."THAT'S why I couldn't get the results I wanted!"

Think about it:

P90X is an offer.

Muscle confusion is the Solution.

A 12-week coaching program is an offer.

Selling high-ticket clients through the DMs is the Solution.

Your Solution is probably THE most important marketing asset you could add to your messaging that almost nobody knows or talks about.

Because if your offer is something they’ve tried or heard of before...

They’re going to tune out.

Which is why your Solution is...

Even More Important Than Funnels

Because without the solution, it's hard for funnels to work.

They’re just going to keep scrolling.
So I threw out the rulebook and tried something radically different. 
Instead of constantly hawking my offers, I started creating content that educates my audience. 
I focused on my unique SOLUTION.
The new way I help people get results - rather than my offer.
And damn, did it work.
Suddenly, my content was striking a chord. 
People were blowing up my DMs, eager to work with me. 
I was enrolling high-ticket clients left and right, without a single sales call.
That's the power of "Solution Slinging". 
When you have a unique solution to a prospect's pain...
Your content BECOMES the funnel.

The Solution Funnel Looks Like This:

1. Prospect has a problem

2. Problem gets bad enough they start to search for a solution NOT AN OFFER.
3. Prospect gets education on their problem (ideally through YOUR content) << THIS IS HOW YOU GAIN INDUSTRY AUTHORITY
4. Prospect discovers your solution
5. Prospect is sold on your solution, and is now receptive to an offer that uses that solution
6. Prospect DMs you or books a call because interest and confidence in solution is built up enough << THIS IS THE MAGIC STEP EVERYONE MISSES
7. Prospect gets sold on your offer via DMs or phone call
And 90% of the time I close high-ticket clients without having to hop on the phone unless I need more clarity.
That’s the power of slinging your solution.
Here’s the key takeaway:

People Need To Be Sold On Your Solution Before They Can Be Sold On Your Offer

You could have the best keto tips in the world...

But if someone doesn’t BELIEVE that keto is the best, fastest, easiest way to lose weight and will work for THEM...
There’s 0% chance they’re going to use your tips.
This is why we teach the WHAT not the HOW in our marketing (because only 10% are sold on our Solution, the rest aren’t sold on it).

But because people are sold on your solution, you can move the “selling your offer” part from the DMs or phone call to content.
