I got this email back in 2022.

I just had my biggest month ever at that point.

But they shut down my Stripe account overnight for no reason!

They said I’m “in violation of the Stripe Services Agreement.”

They locked up the $54K I had worked so hard for.

I had never had a single chargeback or refund request.

I did nothing wrong!

So I spent HOURS calling Stripe support...

BEGGING them to give me my money back.

I called their support lines no less than a dozen times.

I found a bunch of people on the Stripe account team on LinkedIn, scraped their email addresses, and pretended I was referred to them by a different department.

And NOTHING worked.

They all said the same dumb canned shit:

“We understand it’s important for you, this has been escalated to the appropriate department”

Still.

Nothing.

I had to send a fucking letter in the mail to their office.

Then they informed me they would release my funds in 6 months.

Instead of the 9 months they’re legally entitled to.

What bullshit.

Thank God it was just me running a solopreneur business.

If it wasn’t?

I wouldn’t be able to pay my team.

Run ads.

Or even make any money until I found a Stripe alternative.

But I still had a massive problem...
